Sandra “Sandy” J. Gerrick, 65, of North Ridgeville, passed away on September 29, 2018. 

Beloved wife of Phillip; loving mother of Christopher (Kristie) Gerrick and Jason (Sheena) Gerrick; dear grandmother of Morgan, Madelyne, Jackson, Peyton, and Benson; cherished daughter of Patricia (Wilfred deceased) Schultz; sister of the late Terry (Sherri) Schultz, Gary Schultz, and Patty (Jerry) Melvin; aunt to many loving nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends. 

Sandy enjoyed Bingo, gambling, and watching Cleveland sports teams. She provided loving and compassionate care to the elderly for decades. Her priority was spending time with beloved family and friends, especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life. Sandy was an avid fan of the Wizard of Oz, even owning a pair of ruby slippers. She clicked her heels three times and followed the yellow brick road over the rainbow. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 3-7 PM at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s name to Fairview Hospital- Moll Cancer Pavillion, 18200 Lorain Road, Cleveland, OH 44111.

  1. If you were lucky enough to be around Sandy you knew you were going have a lot of laughs and so much fun. Your work here on earth is done and you did it well. Now you can rest knowing you have left everyone such wonderful memories!
